In bemoaning - God willing – the late Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah

It is a word of loyalty to the man to fulfillment because the Kuwaitis sorrow at the passing of the "Prince of Hearts" Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al has never been u usual one. This Prince, this man represents to his people the symbol of love, honesty, pride, manhood and dignity. He loved Kuwaitis and they loved him back and were loyal to him, those who know the real meaning of loyalty and his one of the very rare governors who had loyal people. The Kuwaitis wept over him like many Arabs and Muslims very honestly showing their true feelings and emotions, especially those who knew his wisdom, generosity, sincerity and his courage facing the difficulties. People in Kuwait and other countries found in him a skillful captain who knew how to run the rudder in all situations. They knew him as the loving father and a brotherly advisor who wishes all the good of all. They knew him as a strong defender of truth, goodness and freedom with a relentless determination and a continuous persistence to face the impossible. They knew him as that man whose smile radiates and nearly became a curing medicine.

On the day of his death, men, women and children wept over him with heartburn tears full of the pain of separation. He was mourned even by the rhymes and flowers of the Dasman Palace, which he used to take care of, like his sons, under his supervision, after dawn prayers. He was mourned even by all the places where he had a memory of a visit or a generous gesture or a caring hand.

Today, that we are living the seventh anniversary of his death, the memory is not enough to remember all his good actions and his generosity; he is the one who vowed himself to the service of Kuwait and its people on every level. We remember him with sorrow in our hearts and eyes because Kuwait lost when he died, a prominent person who had an overwhelming presence which was by itself alone sufficient to reassure people to the bright, prosperous future full of goodness, love and peace.

The returning anniversary of the death of the "Prince of Hearts" arrives while Kuwait is passing through passing through a crisis that we ask God to make it lead to a consensus of peace among loving brothers. We call on the Almighty to preserve Kuwait from all evil, and encompass the spirit of the late Emir bestow forgiveness, and bring us together, and him in his mercy.
